Estate planning for people in dangerous jobs

Several Pennsylvania law firms are teaming up for a fifth year to offer free estate planning for first responders as a way of saying “thank you,” according to Legal Scoops. It’s a reminder that people who work in dangerous jobs need to take steps to protect their families by having an estate plan. The nonprofit Wills for Heroes foundation was created after 9/11 and is part of a national effort to protect the estates of first responders and military personnel or veterans.
