Wes Ouchi is a trial attorney with a record of winning difficult criminal defense, family law, and juvenile delinquency cases throughout Southern California.  As a tireless advocate for legal rights, he has helped countless youths, individuals, parents, and law offices successfully navigate the Criminal, Family, and Juvenile Court System, quickly earning a reputation of being the attorney who other lawyers seek for advice on their biggest cases. Shamansky, who is regarded as one of the top trial attorneys in the country.  Wes also spent countless hours successfully litigating pro-bono cases with the County Public Defender's Office, winning more motions to suppress evidence, as a law student, than the entire 35 attorney office for each business quarter that he worked.  Wes's passion is helping hard-working, everyday individuals fight difficult legal cases and he has been doing it his entire professional career.

Wes graduated, with highest honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, earning degrees in both Psychology and Social Welfare.  While at Berkeley, he was recognized as being in the top 10 students in his field of study and was selected to work closely with the University's Research Faculty.  During this time, Wes's work culminated into a Thesis that empirically studied the efficacy of macro-level policy-based exercise interventions on minority communities in the U.S., during a time in which the political landscape regarding healthcare was drastically shifting.  This work was well-received by Berkeley's Research Faculty and received acclaim as the only Research Thesis to be awarded highest honors at graduation.  Wes then worked his way through law school and received his juris doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was distinguished as a Public Service Fellow with the Dean's Special Recognition Award (awarded by Chief Justice O'Connor of the Supreme Court of Ohio) and served as the Founding President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.  (Wes also attended high school locally at Flintridge Preparatory School where he lettered in 4 varsity sports and earned CIF Finalist, All Area, and All League distinctions in Football and Track).
