Paul J. Abraham is the founder and Managing Attorney of PJI Law. After residing in Northern Virginia for years, Mr. Abraham earned two academic majors at Cornell University, where among other endeavors he presided over three organizations and was a member of the Academic Integrity Hearing Board as well as the Cornell Debate Association. He came back to Northern Virginia to obtain a Juris Doctor degree at the George Mason University School of Law, where he was a member of the Honor Committee and one of only five members of his graduating class to successfully complete the Corporate Law track.
After accumulating experience in various areas of law with the Fairfax County’s Office of the County Attorney and the Office of the Public Defender, Mr. Abraham moved on to the private sector and worked with law firms primarily on business law, family law, and personal injury law. Additionally, Mr. Abraham has been an active participant in a number of legal pro bono programs, including the Family Legal Assistance Project, Wills on Wheels, and the Housing Law Project. Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Abraham worked on executive and congressional matters with the federal government, conducted policy research at the prestigious American Enterprise Institute, and spent time with the editorial page of USA Today.
Mr. Abraham has appeared on a number of radio and television shows, and his written work as a nationally syndicated columnist has been published in newspapers from coast to coast. He has been quoted in forums ranging from the nation’s leading talk radio shows, to the pages of work appearing on the New York Times Best Sellers list. In 2014, 2015, and 2016, Mr. Abraham earned Avvo’s Clients’ Choice award. He has been named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016 and 2017, is currently named Top 40 Under 40 in Virginia by the National Trial Lawyers, and has a rating of “Superb” from Avvo, the highest rating it confers.
